Electrical Lineworker Technology

The UA-PTC Technical Certificate in Electrical Lineworker Technology is a certified power line worker training program designed to provide quality education along with real-world, hands-on instruction to those seeking careers as electrical power line workers. Individuals gain the knowledge and skills needed to install, repair, service, and maintain electrical power lines and supporting equipment.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Enrollment in the Electrical Lineworker Technology program during Fall and Spring registration is limited to the first sixteen (16) students. Due to high demand, early registration is strongly advised. Students pursuing the Technical Certificate, with an externally obtained Commercial Driver’s License, may need to undergo Prior Learning Assessment for potential course credit.

Monday-Thursday: 5:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Credential

The program will equip students with the industry-specific skills for entry level employment, including an industry-recognized National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) credential. Graduates may obtain employment in the field of electrical power line work with one of our following partners:
