Student Ambassadors are needed at UA-PTC!⁠

A UA - Pulaski Tech Student Activities Ambassador participates in speaking engagements, community outreach, new student orientation, and more. They are involved in the planning, promotion, and implementation of campus events for students, along with encouraging other students to be involved in campus events and leadership activities.⁠

Each Ambassador Receives a Scholarship.⁠ Requirements include:⁠ a 2.5 GPA⁠ and ability to work campus events.⁠

 


“Yoga on the Yard” set for May 1

The HOSA club invites one and all to "Yoga on the Yard" from 1 to 4 p.m. on May 1. The event offers a midday break for students to de-stress and focus on physical wellness. For more information, contact Health Information Technology Program Director Bryce Miller at  bdmiller@uaptc.edu.



Registration opens for summer UA-PTC Youth Technical Science Camps

Registration is now open for the 2026 Youth Technical Science Camps at University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College. Designed for students entering 10th, 11th, and 12th grades, the camps provide hands-on experience in high-demand technical fields. REGISTER HERE.

The camps will run from July 27-30 at the UA-PTC Main Campus in North Little Rock. All courses are led by university faculty and follow a four-day schedule, Monday through Thursday. Prospective campers should act quickly, as space is limited and sessions fill fast. The registration deadline is July 17 at 11:59 p.m.

Camp Details and Schedule

Tuition is $200 per camp. Students have the option to register for a single session or combine a morning and afternoon session for a full-day experience.

  • Morning Sessions (8 a.m. – 12 p.m.): Welding, 3D Printing/CNC, and HVAC.
  • Afternoon Sessions (12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.): Welding, Robotics, and Drafting.

Scholarship Information: A limited number of scholarships are available for interested students.

FAFSA and state scholarships offer college funding opportunities

Prioritize your college funding by completing the 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid as soon as possible! The application is available online at studentaid.gov.

In addition to federal aid, students should submit the state application for the Academic Challenge Scholarship by July 1 to remain eligible for additional funds that DO NOT require repayment. Interested applicants can visit sams.adhe.edu to complete the process.
