Apply for Admissions

Before you can participate in New Student Orientation or register for classes, you must be admitted to UA-PTC. To apply, visit the following: UA-PTC Admissions Application

Apply for Financial Aid

1. Complete the FAFSA application (UA-PTC FAFSA School Code is 014167).

2. Visit UA-PTC’s Financial Aid website for information on scholarships.

Setup your Workday Account

Once admitted, new students will receive an email from Account Services with their school email. Once you have your school email, use the following instructions to setup your Workday account:

1. Navigate to myapps.microsoft.com in a web browser.

2. Enter your Institution E-mail then click next.

3. Click Forgot my password and follow prompts.

4. You may also be prompted to setup a Multifactor Authentication. You may choose to use an authenticator app or secure code. You can find resources for the Multifactor Authentication at the following: uaptc.edu/mfa

5. A dashboard with multiple apps will display. Locate the blue app titled “Workday” and select it.

6. You are now logged into Workday! You should see tasks waiting for you in your inbox.

Complete New Student Onboarding

New students must complete onboarding before getting registered for classes. Expect to complete onboarding each semester so that you can register for classes and keep your information update to date.

Students will use Workday for various things, including:

Review Degree Plans Offered

Before meeting with an academic advisor, review the degree plans offered at UA-PTC. Unsure about what you want to study? Take the O*Net Interest Profiler assessment.

Get Advised and Register for Classes

At New Student Orientation you will have the opportunity to meet with an Academic Advisor and register for classes. If you are unable to attend an in-person NSO, you can schedule an appointment to meet with an advisor.

Get your Student ID

UA-PTC students can get their Student ID badge at the help desk. In addition to the Student ID, UA-PTC students can ask for the Metro Bus pass sticker to be added to their badge. Students must get a new sticker each semester.

Get your Parking Pass

1. Go to the Records Office at the Main Campus or the Student Services suite at the South Location to fill out the form.

2. Return the form to receive your parking pass.

Get Textbooks

Students can purchase books from the bookstore located on the North campus or online.

Blackboard Support

If you need support with understanding how to use Blackboard, see the different Blackboard tutorials available or visit the Learning Assistance Center for support.
