Students receiving any form of federal financial aid (Pell Grant, SEOG, Work-Study and Student Loans) at UA - Pulaski Tech will be expected to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) toward their program objective. Failure to achieve SAP will result in the termination of your Federal Financial Aid. Any student being denied Federal Financial Aid, due to not meeting all of the SAP requirements must submit a Financial Aid SAP Appeal.
We advise each student to review their UA-PTC transcript and read the SAP Policy, before completing the Financial Aid SAP Appeal below.

After you have completed your FAFSA, please be ready to provide the following information when completing your financial aid appeal:
1. Answer all the questions on the form and upload supporting documentation.
2. Explain the reason why you are appealing. It is important to provide details about your situation, including when the situation occurred, what has changed that will allow you to maintain your academic progress, and what goals you are trying to obtain with your appeal.
3. Upload supporting documentation (medical documentation form, if appealing for illness/injury). Include proper documentation to support your letter of appeal. Examples of documentation include a death certificate, obituary, police report or court orders. Not including appropriate documentation could result in a delay or denial of your appeal.
