Student taking an online test.

The ACCUPLACER Next Generation test is offered for admission to UA-PTC and placement in Reading, Writing, and Math courses on campus. The ACCUPLACER test determines whether students need to take developmental courses. First time college students must score a 226 or higher on the ACCUPLACER reading test to be admitted to UA-PTC. We super score, pull scores from the highest test. We also offer the test on two of our campuses Main Campus in North Little Rock and at the Little Rock-South site.

The ACCUPLACER is not timed, but usually takes about two to two and half hours to complete.

  • There is a $20 non-refundable fee to take all sections of the ACCUPLACER (reading, writing, and math).
  • There is a $10 non-refundable fee to take only one (1) section of the ACCUPLACER. When making payment, please have the exact amount on hand and during after business hours.
