Sales tax holiday weekend is Aug. 1-2
Arkansas' Tax Free Weekend begins Saturday, August 1, and ends Sunday, August 2, at 11:59 p.m., allowing shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain electronic devices, school supplies, school instructional materials, and clothing free of state and local sales or use tax.

In December 2025, MacroSource partnered with UA-PTC to deliver a customized Basic Welding training program. Instructor Thurman Daniel provided eight employees with foundational welding skills through a 24-hour course conducted over three days.
