Whether your student is beginning college, transferring to a four-year university or going straight into the Arkansas workforce, UA-PTC equips students with diverse learning opportunities and hands-on, real-world experiences. At UA-PTC, students can expect small class sizes and a high-quality education with caring faculty and staff that are dedicated to student success.

Where do I become a student at UA-PTC?

What programs are available?

UA-PTC offers over 80 accredited programs with classes offered in the daytime, evening and online. Our Technical Certificates and Certificates of Proficiency allow students to get the necessary credentials and training to allow them to enter the workforce.

I'm transferring to a four-year university. Can I just take my basics?

Our 2 + 2 University Transfer Agreements are designed to allow students to transfer to four-year institutions for the purpose of attaining a bachelor’s degree.

What scholarship opportunities are available?

  • Scholarship Opportunities - Scholarships available for future and current students.
  • Scholarship for Single Parents - The Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund services 66 of the 75 counties in Arkansas along with Bowie County, TX providing scholarships to single parents pursuing post-secondary education.

Early College Program

Through our early college program, students can earn college credit while still in high school. This allows students to enroll as concurrent or dual enrolled.

Resources

  • UA-PTC Mobile App - Download the free UA-PTC mobile app from the Apple and Google Play store. The app provides quick access to resources used regularly by students.
  • UA-PTC Food Pantry - As a service organization within UA-PTC, the Food Pantry seeks to promote the success of the UA-PTC family by focusing on the whole person. Because healthy living makes for healthy learning, the Food Pantry addresses the issue of hunger in the UA-PTC community.
  • Free Bus Pass Program - All currently enrolled UA - Pulaski Tech students and employees can ride the Rock Region Metro for free. With the U-Pass, UA-PTC students and employees can use their UA-PTC ID card as their bus pass to ride to and from college and anywhere else they want to ride.
  • Career Services - Undecided on a major? Take advantage of our free career assessments and resources.
  • Student Life and Leadership - Get involved on campus with several student organization's to choose from or start a new group.
