1. What ACUE Cohort were you a part of?

UA-PTC ACUE Cohort 2019-2020

2. What do you teach and how do you think you benefited from the ACUE course?

I teach Composition and Literature, especially online. It helped me remember how important student connection and communication is. We sometimes forget how important it is to connect on a human level with students when separated by distance learning. It is essential that we work to understand our students.

3. Best thing you learned from ACUE?

It has to be the focus on communication with the students. Communication doesn't only mean for them to reach out to us.

4. Do you think your students benefited from you taking the ACUE course and if so, how?

Yes, it helped me focus my online class structure to better serve and teach!

5. What was your favorite module in ACUE?

Using Active Learning Techniques. Nothing was more effective than when I learned to flip the classroom, and this module supported that.
