Culinary Community Education

University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College’s Community Education Program offers a variety of hands-on, non-credit culinary classes offered at the college's state-of-the-art Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute (CAHMI) that are open to the public year around. Classic French Macarons

Impress your friends and family with delicate, delectable macarons right from your own kitchen. These quintessentially French cookies can be tricky to make. Chef Chocla Lea will walk you through every step of the process. We’ll cover the essentials from meringue making to macronage, piping with precision to achieving the perfect pied (foot).

Gluten-Free Fruit Pies

Dempsey Bakery is back! Paula Dempsey and Sam Clement will teach you how to make and roll dough by hand, creating a delicious gluten-free pie crust, acquire the knowledge of how to choose great tasting seasonal fruit, and how to make a filling for just about any fruit pie. These pies will make a great addition to your next summer party!
